This program is taught by certified instructors and includes classroom and behind-the-wheel training. The process for obtaining a CDL is primarily established by the Utah Department of Motor Vehicles, Driver License Division. Professional Truck Driving students receive approximately two weeks of classroom and lab training to prepare them for the test to obtain a temporary student driver permit.
