The Police Academy (POST) provides basic training required for employment. Training delivered provides an excellent foot-in-the-door approach to a law enforcement career. This training is transferable to other instate police officer training institutions. Areas of study include legal subjects, patrol and criminal investigation procedures, arrest control techniques, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)/First Aid.
