The Medical Assistant program includes classroom work and hands-on skill practice. Students learn laboratory testing, phlebotomy, vital signs, medication administration, and other patient care skills to assist physicians. Upon completion of the primary courses, the student completes a 300-hour, non-paid externship in a medical office.
