The Tooele Applied Technology College officially began operations July 1, 2009. The TATC serves Tooele County, the 43rd fastest growing county in the United States with a population of 62,323. The College has acquired land to build its new facility and has received a planning grant from the Utah State Building Board to conduct a program needs assessment.
